On Monday, March 5th, a team of 18 arrived from our church in Clearwater, Florida. We had a jam packed schedule ready for them as soon as they got off the plane. Of the 18 team members, 5 of them were children, aging from 13 to 6. They were all troopers!!! However, they didn't remember the conversations about how much walking they would be doing. Tuesday and Wednesday lunches were here at the house. Tuesday we had homemade pizza, salad, tostada and dips, pico de gillo, gooey bars for dessert. On Wednesday, we had BBQ baked chicken, macaroni and cheese from scratch, salad, bread, peanut butter chocolate chip cookies (requested by Sarah). As I was preparing the lunch for the team to arrive, our doorbell rang and our new friends (Worldrace team) that we had stay with us for a few days prior to our team arriving, showed up early. Well.....to accommodate them as well, I quickly made some chicken stir fry to add to the menu. All in all we had 27 people here for lunch!! It was fun and we couldn't be happier that God gave us this house just to do this kind of ministry.
