The Family is back together!

Back in March, Matt went to Florida to study Massage Therapy at Florida Metropolitan University, which he is now a licensed massage therapist. During the course of the year, the months and days slowly rolled by, but yet in the blink of an eye, December 5th was here and he was returning to Guatemala. Yes, he arrived in the arms of his finance, Alejandra. She was so happy to see him, for her it was a long 9 months.

Amber was in the states for 10 days for her 3 month doctor visit and preparation for her next semester of classes with SPC. She arrived back in Guatemala on December 7th.

Mike and I had a few days to experience "the empty nest". The first couple of days, we were just getting used to the fact that the house was empty. Then we found ourselves enjoying the freedom, well, us and our dog, Palomita. However, she was lonely for a couple of days not having Amber here.

This next year will be a new chapter in our lives, Amber wants to return to the states sometime next year to finish her Education degree in state instead of online. Matt and Alejandra will be making a life of their own on Saturday, March 1st. Mike and I will be getting older and stepping into the later of the forties age bracket and gaining more gray hair.

As it says in Jeremiah 29:11.... "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD..." We all will sit back and watch to see how the plans will unfold.
