On Monday, August 18th, we took Amber back to the states for 2 years to finish her degree in Elementary Education with St Petersburg College. This is a very sad but exciting time for her and for us. She has been a real asset here in the ministry of IDC. She has taught English to so many students, ranging from Kindergarten age to adults. This also includes the Tourist Police officers. Of course, this is a strange thing for Mike and I as now we are "empty nesters" except for the dog, Palomita.

The next chapter....
