On December 2nd, Matt and Ale left for Guatemala City as Matt was leaving the next day for Florida. He will be gone for 3 months to establish work and a home for when he brings his family, Ale and Koko (the dog). Ale is in the last stages of obtaining her visa to go to the states. The goal is for them to be settled in Tampa Bay/Clearwater Area by the end of March, 2009.
Amber has been in Florida since August 18th and doing great! She just finished her first semester at SPC. As well as going to school, working a couple of jobs, she is extremely busy with the Youth Program at Pathways Community Church.
It struck both Mike and I the other day that this will be our first Christmas and New Year's without the kids. I guess we have to grow up now.
I thank God for my children, Amber and Matt & Alejandra.
